Hi my name is Liam and I'm a 25 year old bisexual trans guy from germany, who has pretty much spent his whole life on the internet! It kinda started with youtube, twitter and wattpad and then moved onto tumblr, instagram, tiktok, AO3, reddit, threads and so on. I'll be honest, at this point I don't have any idea how many accounts I've made on different social media sites and what kind of weird shit I have probably said or done. Actually now that I'm thinking about it, the first sentence was already a lie, because it didn't start on twitter. It kinda started with moviestarplanet, clubpenguin and bubbleshooter. But I suppose my mind immediately went to social media when I said internet, because I often forget that the internet has more to offer than that.
I did in fact not know, that people actually made their own personal websites (beyond corporations doing it) until I saw a video about it on youtube and I never realised how "easy" it technically is to create at least a simple little place for your thoughts, that isn't controlled by some sort of mega corporation that'll ban you if you say the word "queer". That being said I am still very new to coding and don't really have the art skills to make this look super fancy yet, but I'm working on them, so the longer this is gonna be up, the prettier it'll hopefully be (assuming I don't forget about it...again...)
Theres some insanely pretty websites on here and I am in absolute awe of peoples skills and the way they are putting themselves out there, so if I follow you, imagine me jumping up and down, pointing at everything on your website like a little kid, that is visiting the zoo for the first time and absolutely has to tell his parents how fucking cool everything is every five seconds! I'll spare you the actual gushing probably because I'm shy af, but now you know!
Now, since this is an about me page, I'll actually tell you something about my interests, which include, but are not limited to: gaming and gamedev (haven't made any games yet tho), reading, writing, science, sports (mainly Formula 1) and learning how to do new things. I got interested in programming when I played around with Python a little and then learned how to do statistics thanks to my universities R course. After that I discovered HTML and CSS thanks to the youtube video about website making, tried a matlab uni course and looked a bit into coding in godot's game engine. Solving problems and learning about how computers work and how you can create things with it, has been my absolute favorite thing to discover in the past two years and I highly treasure the joy this is giving me.
